Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County welcomes Shawn Wills as new CEO
Frisco, Texas – The Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County (BGCCC) have announced the appointment of Shawn Wills as the new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective August 16. Wills, a veteran in the nonprofit sector, brings over two decades of experience to the role and a commitment to expanding BGCCC’s reach to young people in need.

Wills previously served as the Chief Development Officer for Planned Parenthood of Greater Texas, where she oversaw all fundraising and development efforts. Her most notable achievement was spearheading a successful $65 million capital campaign, a historic milestone for the organization. Now, Wills hopes to utilize her vast experience to benefit BGCCC and its mission of helping youth in Collin County.
“I am honored and extremely grateful to the Board and the selection committee for the opportunity to lead this organization that has been a positive staple in the Collin County community for more than 50 years; and I share the Board of Directors’ vision to ensure that BGCCC remains a fiscally strong, forward-thinking organization that enables all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens,” said Wills.
Prior to her tenure at Planned Parenthood, Wills held various roles that attest to her versatility and dedication to nonprofit work. Among her previous posts are Vice President of Operations at Women’s Business Council — Southwest, Senior Vice President of Development at Texas Women’s Foundation, Chief Development Officer for CitySquare, and Manager of Volunteer Services at KERA, PBS, and NPR broadcast stations in North Texas.

Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County new CEO is a Frisco native
Wills, a Frisco resident, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia and has completed certifications in non-profit leadership and nonprofit management at Southern Methodist University, showcasing her commitment to professional development and expertise in the nonprofit sector.
“Our Board is super excited for Shawn Wills to lead our organization into the future,” said Dr. Monigo Saygbay-Hallie, chair of the Board Governance Committee and member of the BGCCC CEO Search Committee.

Established in 1968, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Collin County is a North Texas nonprofit that serves over 4,800 children annually through a range of after-school, summer, and outreach programs. The organization currently operates seven clubs in the region, located in McKinney, Plano, Frisco, and Princeton.
