Dallas shooting news #1: Dallas shooting on Saturday – Man found fatally shot in Dallas business parking lot

According to the Dallas Police Department, officers with the department have found a 38-year-old man Saturday night, around 7: 30 p.m. in a business parking lot to the 1200 block of Red Bird Lane with at least one gunshot wound.

As soon as Dallas Police Department officers arrived at the scene, the victim was taken to hospital for treatment where he was later pronounced dead. Dallas police identified the shooting victim as Clovis Dawayne Braxton.

The Saturday Dallas shooting incident is being investigated by the Dallas Police Department.

Dallas shooting news #2: Dallas shooting on Friday – Dallas Police Department officer and K9 partner injured in a shootout, the suspect shot dead

In the early hours of Friday morning, a harrowing incident unfolded in the Pleasant Grove district of Dallas, when both a Dallas Police Department officer and a K9 unit were struck by gunfire during a confrontation with an armed suspect.

The Dallas Police Department (DPD) reported that the altercation occurred around 2:30 a.m., as the officer responded to a separate shooting incident near the intersection of Prairie Creek Road and Scyene Circle. As the Dallas police officer bravely engaged the suspect, he sustained gunshot wounds to his leg and shoulder.

Demonstrating remarkable courage and resilience, the officer managed to return fire, ultimately neutralizing the threat by fatally wounding the assailant. Following the tense encounter, the officer was transported to Baylor Medical Center in East Dallas. Despite the gravity of his injuries, he remained conscious, communicative, and is expected to make a full recovery.

The K9, who valiantly served alongside the officer during this harrowing ordeal, also sustained injuries in the exchange of gunfire. Mirroring the resilience of its human counterpart, the K9 is likewise anticipated to recuperate fully from its wounds.

“The officer was hit at least twice, once in the shoulder and once in the leg. The K9 was also hit,” Dallas Police Department Assistant Director Kristin Lowman said.

In a tragic incident that unfolded on Tuesday evening in Dallas, a 16-year-old boy from Dallas lost his life in what is believed to be a road rage shooting in Dallas that ensued after a minor vehicular collision, according to Dallas local law enforcement authorities.

The Dallas Police Department’s investigators have disclosed that the victim, later identified as Emanuell Alexander, was among four passengers in an SUV traversing Santa Anna Avenue in the direction of Shiloh Road. It was at this juncture that the SUV’s side mirror made contact with an oncoming vehicle’s mirror.

In response to the seemingly innocuous collision, the driver of the second vehicle executed a swift U-turn, accelerated toward the SUV, and proceeded to discharge a firearm. Amidst the hail of bullets, the teenager was struck at least once, while the remaining three occupants of the vehicle fortunately emerged unscathed.

In an attempt to seek aid for the grievously injured teenager, the driver of the SUV sped away from the scene, eventually reaching the 4600 block of East RL Thornton Freeway, approximately seven miles from the location of the initial incident.

Here, the frantic occupants managed to flag down first responders from Dallas Fire-Rescue at around 9:20 p.m. The first responders immediately alerted the police regarding the shooting and transported the wounded teenager to a nearby hospital, where he ultimately succumbed to his injuries.

As of now, the Dallas Police have yet to apprehend or identify the perpetrator of this heinous crime.

Dallas police and local law enforcement authorities have not provided a description of the shooter or the vehicle involved, other than its general appearance as a beige or tan SUV or truck. In the early hours of Friday morning, a tense standoff transpired between a Mesquite Police Department officer and an armed suspect, culminating in an exchange of gunfire before the perpetrator was ultimately apprehended.

The incident began shortly after 6 a.m., as law enforcement authorities received reports of gunfire in the vicinity of Gus Thomasson Road and Oates Drive, adjacent to the tranquil Vanston Park.

Upon arrival at the scene, the Mesquite Police Department officer in question, a two-year veteran of the Mesquite Police Department, encountered numerous individuals hastily traversing the park’s verdant landscape. Amid the chaos, one of the fleeing individuals brazenly discharged a firearm in the direction of the officer.

Unfazed by the perilous circumstances, the Mesquite Police officer promptly responded, returning fire in an effort to neutralize the threat. Miraculously, despite the tumultuous gunfire exchange, no individuals sustained injuries in this Dallas shooting incident early in the week.

The situation was ultimately defused with the suspect being placed in police custody, averting further danger to the community and restoring a semblance of order to the once-peaceful Vanston Park.

Dallas shooting news #5 – Fort Worth shooting overnight Saturday – One person was shot dead in a Fort Worth shooting incident at an unauthorized block party

In the early hours of Sunday morning, tragedy struck at an unsanctioned block party in Fort Worth, resulting in the death of a man after a violent episode of gunfire. Fort Worth law enforcement officials and MedStar emergency services received a distress call around 12:30 a.m., prompting them to swiftly respond to the scene in the 3500 block of NW 27th Street, located on the northwest side of the city.

The circumstances of the incident were shrouded in chaos, as an altercation of unknown origin spiraled out of control, culminating in the devastating discharge of a firearm. The lone victim, grievously wounded by the bullet, was rushed to a nearby medical facility in a desperate attempt to save his life. Regrettably, despite the valiant efforts of the hospital staff, the man succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
