Harwood Hospitality Group’s new 134-room Dallas property slated to open June 15

Dallas, Texas – The highly anticipated Hôtel Swexan, the newest addition to the Harwood Hospitality Group portfolio, is set to welcome guests from June 15th.

Named in homage to the owners’ Swiss lineage and their Texan residency, this 134-room Dallas hotel has much to offer, particularly in the realm of dining. With the Harwood food and beverage team spearheading the project, Hôtel Swexan promises to create a buzz in the local gastronomic scene.

The hotel features an impressive array of five culinary establishments, one of which is a seventh-floor steakhouse, dubbed Stillwell’s. True to its Texan roots, Stillwell’s will showcase prime cuts from Harwood’s own Akaushi wagyu cattle.

At the helm of these exciting culinary endeavors is Raymond Bocanegra, the hotel’s executive chef, who will operate under the guidance of Harwood culinary director, Taylor Kearney. Bocanegra, a proud Texan and alumnus of Le Cordon Bleu in Austin, brings a wealth of experience to Hôtel Swexan, having previously honed his skills at prominent establishments such as the Rosewood Miramar Beach in Montecito, California, the Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the Ritz-Carlton Denver.

Below, we present a quick overview of Hôtel Swexan’s four exceptional dining venues:

Babou’s

An intimate cocktail lounge located within the hotel, Babou’s beckons with comfortable furnishings and a wealth of engaging literature. Its ambiance is reminiscent of The Nomad restaurant – a comparison that speaks to its appeal.

Isabelle’s

Positioned at lobby level, Isabelle’s channels the charm of Europe’s bustling sidewalk cafes. From continental breakfast offerings to light lunch options and an afternoon tea program, Isabelle’s ensures a delightful dining experience. As night falls, it shifts gear, presenting an array of classic martinis from across the globe, a particular interest of Harwood F&B VP, Warren Richards.

Stillwell’s

Situated on the hotel’s seventh floor, Stillwell’s stands as the hotel’s hallmark steakhouse. It showcases beef sourced from the in-house HWD Beef program and a meticulously curated wine list featuring some of the world’s most sought-after vintages. The steakhouse is open to both hotel guests and visitors, inviting all to partake in its culinary offerings.

Leonie

Offering rooftop dining with panoramic views of Dallas and a patio that gazes out over the rooftop pool, Leonie is an exclusive treat for hotel guests. Open throughout the day, it presents a unique vantage point from which to enjoy the city’s skyline while savoring delicious fare.
