Hundreds of people gathered at the Bank of America Plaza in Downtown Dallas to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society
On Saturday, a crowd of hundreds of people gathered at the Bank of America Plaza in Downtown Dallas for the 15th annual Big Climb Dallas to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Those in attendance included firefighters, families, and businesses, all of whom were eager to raise money for the cause.
Ashley Beane, a cancer survivor, and her family were among the many who came to climb in celebration of her recovery. “We’ve made it a family event,” Beane said. “We all went through it, and we all survived. We’re here to celebrate and to raise money for others.”
The event was an inspiring display of solidarity and generosity. A number of volunteers were present to help out, and firefighters were seen climbing the stairs in full gear to honor the cause.
The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is dedicated to not only finding a cure for cancer, but also improving the quality of life for survivors. Big Climb Dallas has raised over $315,000 since its inception, and this year was no exception.
The event provided a unique opportunity for the community to come together in support of a worthy cause. All of the money raised will help fund research and treatments for those battling cancer, and provide support for those who have survived.
Big Climb Dallas is an inspiring event that has become an important part of the Dallas community. Through this event, the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has been able to make a real difference in the lives of many.
