Embedded within the building’s robust walls is a full-fledged pharmacy ready to serve prescriptions with the added ease of a drive-thru facility. Complementing this is a fuel station that features an associated car wash, ensuring a comprehensive stopover for customers. Adding to the appeal, the store houses H-E-B’s signature in-store eatery, True Texas BBQ, thus solidifying its status as a diverse retail destination.
According to the details gleaned from H-E-B’s website, the newest McKinney store will be replete with an extensive beer and wine selection, a deli, a bakery, and a tortilleria, among other amenities. Additionally, patrons can look forward to live cooking demonstrations at the aptly named Cooking Connections section of the store. This McKinney store’s opening is the latest in a series of H-E-B expansions within the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Future plans highlight an ambitious roadmap of further locations across Allen, Alliance, Mansfield, and a prospective second Frisco store. Recently, H-E-B officially opened its eCommerce fulfillment center in Plano.
In a recent announcement, the retail giant also confirmed opening Joe V’s Smart Shop to the North Texas region, an innovative store concept designed to compete with brands like Aldi.
