Quartino Ristorante and Wine Bar, a Chicago-based authentic Italian restaurant, is coming to North Texas
Dallas, Texas – In a tantalizing fusion of traditional Italian fare and Chicago’s culinary ingenuity, Quartino Ristorante and Wine Bar is embarking on a noteworthy gastronomic expedition, expanding its horizon from the Windy City to Texas. This authentic Italian neighborhood dining establishment, known for its pizzeria and wine bar, is all set to inaugurate its first Texan outpost in the Grotto District of Grandscape, within the vibrant community of The Colony in Dallas-Fort Worth.
Mark your calendars, as the official grand opening is slated for June 19, according to a recent official announcement.
A dual-level establishment, Quartino promises to offer patrons a diverse dining experience with both indoor and outdoor seating options. The exterior, characterized by a distinctive red-toned brick finish and tasteful awnings, imbues an air of casual elegance, setting the stage for a relaxed yet sophisticated ambiance.
The menu at Quartino remains true to its Italian roots while offering a distinctive twist, presenting patrons with a variety of shared plates that celebrate regional specialties. This includes a panoply of delights, ranging from artisanal salumi and housemade cheeses to Neapolitan-style pizza. Further heightening the gastronomic experience are their handmade pasta, Aquerello risotto, and a delectable array of seafood.
Patrons are in for a treat at the bar as well, with a comprehensive wine program that boasts a value-driven wine list. Featuring an exclusive selection of family-owned, small-production wines available by the quartino (quarter liter), mezzo (half-liter), litro (liter) and bottle; this is a haven for wine enthusiasts. Adding to the allure is their offering of craft cocktails, signature negronis, and house-made limoncello.
The renowned Gibsons Restaurant Group (GRG), known for its operation of beloved American brands like Gibsons Bar & Steakhouse and Gibsons Italia in Chicago, along with The Boathouse at Disney Springs in Orlando, Florida, is the driving force behind Quartino. This marks the first Quartino to open since the original establishment first graced Chicago in 2005, cementing GRG’s status as one of the nation’s top-grossing independent restaurant groups, as it continues to make inroads into promising new markets.

He says, “Quartino selected The Colony as its first home in Texas because of its friendly people, incomparable growth, culture, and diversity. Our goal is to serve up southern hospitality Italian style and create an unforgettable experience for our customers.”
