Uvalde Foundation For Kids secures funding for the entire 2023/2024 school year after extensive donation

Dallas, Texas – The Uvalde Foundation For Kids, a national 501c3 nonprofit announced in a late development Monday, that it has received an extensive donation which will guarantee its operational costs for the entire 2023/2024 school year.
The foundation, formed following the Uvalde, Texas school shooting in May 2022; who has worked on a national and local level to prevent school violence; including most recently following the Covenant School shooting In Nashville, Tennessee; recently announced a planned Sept 2nd 2023 local & national relaunch & fundraising campaign; following a brief shutdown of its National operations for refinancing & restructuring.
The recent donor, who the foundation noted wished to remain anonymous at this time, provided resources to the foundation’s local & national mission to end student gun violence; which, according to foundation officials, is its first ever, “Blank Check,” donation guaranteeing foundation operating expenses for the upcoming 2023/2024 school year.
Foundation Founder, Daniel Chapin, reacted to the donation Monday afternoon stating, “The Foundation cannot express our gratitude enough for this individual. This allows all our funding to go where it needs to go – protecting our nations students.”
This comes as an update to previous Dallas Metro News report that Uvalde Foundation For Kids was forced to cease operations due to finding.
