Dallas developer Cawley Partners has broken ground on a Plano office building
Plano, Texas – Cawley Partners, a reputable Dallas developer, has initiated the construction of an office structure in Plano, prominently placed along the Dallas North Tollway. This venture is one of the few to launch this year in the area.
The construction of Parkwood II is taking place to the east of the tollway, on Windhaven Parkway. The site was once part of the historic Haggard family’s Plano farm where this new office edifice is being raised.
The Haggard family, First United Bank, and Cawley Partners are working collaboratively to develop this impressive 120,000-square-foot building. The occupancy rate of the structure has already crossed 40%, with SFMG Wealth Advisors among the early tenants.
“This is an extremely attractive campus, and we’re seeing lots of interest from 5,000-10,000-square-foot users,” Cawley vice president Kristi Waddell said in a statement. “The location, efficient floor plan, and amenity package is really attractive to tenants in this area, and we expect the remaining space in the building to lease quickly.”
Parkwood II is situated next to Cawley Partners’ inaugural Parkwood office, a four-story structure that was finalized last year and serves as the headquarters for First United Mortgage. A scenic courtyard will connect the two structures, featuring a range of amenities including conference rooms, outdoor patios, a fitness center, and a pickleball court.
Parkwood II is on track for a late 2024 inauguration, with Gensler serving as the architect and Hill & Wilkinson entrusted as the contractor. Cawley Partners holds a prominent portfolio of office developments across Plano, Addison, and North Dallas.
