Engaged in an ambitious construction phase, the hotel and its accompanying residential tower constitute a pivotal part of HALL Park’s groundbreaking $7 billion masterplan. With Ritten and Herrera at the helm, HALL Park stands poised to redefine metropolitan living, masterfully weaving together diverse lifestyle threads into a seamless, cohesive tapestry.

HALL Park Hotel management and features
Bringing an impressive track record of over three decades in hospitality management, Hans Ritten steps into his new role, armed with a wealth of experience and industry acumen. His previous tenure as the Managing Director for the prestigious Loews Philadelphia Hotel, as well as his stints as the General Manager of both the Loews Chicago O’Hare Hotel and Omni Hotel Chicago, demonstrate his proven leadership capabilities.
In addition to his impressive executive roles, Ritten’s industry contributions extend to his service on the Philadelphia Convention and Visitor’s Bureau board. His distinguished accolades include being recognized as “Hotelier of the Year, Chicago” in 2018 by the Illinois Hotel and Lodging Association, a testament to his immense standing within the industry.
Entrusted with steering the operations of the HALL Park Hotel, Ritten’s purview will encompass a multitude of aspects, from managing the restaurant and retail spaces to ensuring an exceptional guest experience.
Earlier in the year, The HALL Group unveiled plans for the HALL Park Hotel to be an esteemed member of the Autograph Collection Hotels, Marriott Bonvoy’s unique assemblage of independent hotels known for celebrating individuality. With a keen emphasis on creating a unique and immersive experience, the hotel is set to house a meticulously curated collection of contemporary art from both local and international artists of renown.
The hotel, featuring 224 elegantly appointed guest rooms, including 60 generously proportioned suites, will afford guests commanding views of the serene Kaleidoscope Park. Facilities will encompass a cutting-edge fitness center, pool, and a spacious patio with a panoramic view of the park.
In a nod to grandeur and luxury, the hotel is slated to boast a 4,000-square-foot ballroom. A chef-led restaurant and lounge further complement the promise of an unparalleled gastronomic experience. This announcement underscores the HALL Group’s relentless commitment to providing an opulent and curated living experience within the heart of Frisco.
“We’re excited to have Hans Ritten join the opening team and launch this incredible mixed-use project,” Coury Hospitality CEO Paul Coury said in a statement. “Hans has extensive experience and a proven track record of successful hotel openings and developing concepts which will make HALL Park Hotel a unique and memorable experience for guests and locals alike.”
The Monarch at HALL Park
Boasting a remarkable portfolio of over a decade and a half in the field of multifamily property management, Ms. Herrera ascends to the pivotal role of Senior Property Manager at The Monarch, a high-rise paragon of luxury residential living set to debut in the concluding quarter of this annum.
Revered for her proficiency, honed from a rich history of leading roles in property management, Herrera’s most recent station was with the illustrious firm, Cushman & Wakefield. This institution not only contributed to her repertoire of skills but also serves as the managing entity for The Monarch, thereby seamlessly aligning her transition.
In addition to her stint at Cushman & Wakefield, Herrera demonstrated her acumen through significant roles at renowned firms such as The Lynd Co. and Lincoln Property Co., where she deftly oversaw a towering residential complex of 23 stories.
The prestigious HALL Group, behind The Monarch’s grandeur at HALL Park, has announced that prospective residents will have the opportunity to lay their claim starting from June. The residential tower offers an impressive assortment of 29 distinct floor plans, encompassing eight opulent penthouse suites, distinguished by their generous balconies.
The Monarch will further elevate its residents’ living experience with an expansive amenity floor of 21,700 square feet. Residents can enjoy a suite of luxury offerings such as a well-equipped club room complete with kitchen, a resort-like swimming pool, and a state-of-the-art fitness studio. Additionally, outdoor enthusiasts can delight in a grilling area, and yoga and meditation practitioners will find a tranquil space dedicated to their needs.
Adding to the uniqueness of The Monarch, residents will find additional amenities such as an onsite bike storage facility, a pet grooming area, and a versatile meeting space at their disposal, demonstrating The Monarch’s commitment to offering a comprehensive and exceptional residential experience.
“Ashley Herrera brings a proven track record of success in the multifamily industry,” April Dempsey, senior regional property manager for Cushman & Wakefield, said in a statement. “With a heart for service and an eye for detail, Ashley prides herself on excellence in execution. She has been awarded some of the highest accolades during her tenure at Cushman & Wakefield as a top performer. Her skillset aligns wonderfully with the broader vision and elevated lifestyle for The Monarch at Hall Park.”
A massive reinvention
Sprawling over 2.2 million square feet, HALL Park is a composite of 15 fully erected office buildings. A significant third of this park is earmarked for verdant landscapes, replete with three miles of pedestrian-friendly trails, and the setting for over 200 artworks. Among these is the distinguished Texas Sculpture Garden, a sizable private compilation of contemporary Texas sculpture open to public admiration.
In the autumn of 2021, the pioneering HALL Group embarked on the initial phase of a new, ambitious development blueprint. The intention behind this endeavor is to metamorphose HALL Park into a vibrant, multi-functional community. Upon its completion, the grand scheme, set to unfurl over two decades, will offer roughly 9.5 million square feet of versatile mixed-use space. The total value of this expansive development, once realized, is anticipated to hover around the $7 billion mark.
Founded in 1968, HALL Group is a multibillion-dollar, private company made up of a diverse group of subsidiaries spanning real estate, finance, winemaking, and venture capital.
