Medical City Las Colinas recently appointed COO to officially start on June 1

Frisco, Texas – Starting from June 1st, Medical City Las Colinas has appointed Marcus Jackson, FACHE, to helm its operations as Chief Operating Officer. A respected healthcare veteran, Jackson embarked on his professional journey as a respiratory therapist, subsequently ascending to diverse leadership positions, showcasing his versatility and strategic acumen.

Within the realm of healthcare, Jackson has demonstrated a noteworthy trajectory, holding responsibilities in both respiratory therapy and cardiopulmonary directorate roles. In recent years, he has distinguished himself as the Vice President of Operations and Co-Ethics Compliance Officer at Medical City Arlington since 2017, strengthening his leadership repertoire.

Jackson’s tenure witnessed his executive proficiency as he guided major capital improvement initiatives, establishing his capacity to navigate complex projects. His discerning oversight played a pivotal role in launching prominent facilities such as the Medical City Women’s Hospital Arlington and Medical City ER Red Oak. Adding to his laurels, he also spearheaded the completion of a seven-story parking structure and a sprawling 90,000-square-foot medical office edifice on the campus. His responsibilities also extended to the management of multiple departments while sitting on the senior leadership board.

An embodiment of lifelong learning, Jackson possesses an array of academic credentials. He achieved a Bachelor of Arts in Ministry and Leadership from Dallas Christian College, complemented by a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Health Systems Management from Texas Woman’s University. Moreover, his theological pursuits led him to a Master of Arts in New Testament Preaching from Johnson Bible College.

Adding to his multidimensional career, Jackson holds an Associate of Applied Science in Respiratory Care from El Centro College. His service background extends beyond the realm of healthcare; Jackson served as a United States Marine Corps Reserve veteran and has provided spiritual guidance for the past 24 years as an ordained associate pastor.
