The popular fast casual chicken salad restaurant concept Chicken Salad Chick opens location in Tarrant County

Fort Worth, Texas – In the bustling city of Southlake, the metropolis welcomes the newest addition to its culinary landscape: Chicken Salad Chick, a fast casual dining brand dedicated exclusively to chicken salad, whose roots have grown strong in the nation. Making its grand entrance into the city’s dining scene, this outpost is the latest venture from Texas brand pioneers, John and Meggie Schissler, who first introduced the concept to the state in 2016.

With the Southlake establishment, the Schisslers’ portfolio has been robustly bolstered, bringing their total Chicken Salad Chick presence to seven outlets scattered throughout the metropolitan expanse. Their newest foray into fast casual dining is conveniently nestled at 2101 E Southlake Blvd, adjacent to Kimball Avenue, a popular city artery.

The grand debut is slated for Tuesday, June 20, where the Schisslers are set to mark the occasion with a splash. With a wave of community spirit, they are inviting local residents to partake in the grand opening’s festivities. As the Chicken Salad Chick brand expands its Texas footprint, the Schisslers’ personal growth mirrors their business prosperity. Their collaborative ventures and active participation in community affairs have nurtured a strong bond with their customers. Texas-born Meggie Schissler initiated her journey with Chicken Salad Chick in the corporate realm, assuming the role of a marketing assistant. As the brand made significant inroads in the Southeast, she and John, recognizing a lucrative opportunity, decided to repatriate and became Texas’ pioneering ambassadors for the Chick experience. As the Schisslers look back on their journey, they see nearly 30 thriving Chicken Salad Chick outlets across Texas, a testament to their commitment and the brand’s robust popularity.
