Frisco police officer accused of inappropriate relationship with a student has been arrested and fired from the department

Frisco, Texas – In a shocking development of events in Frisco, a former police officer, Kendal Augustus, 34, has found himself on the wrong side of the law. An arrest was made following allegations of his involvement in a disturbingly inappropriate relationship with an underage student.

The case against Augustus, which stretches back to the academic years of 2017-2018, pivots around his connection with a 14-year-old student enrolled in the Frisco Independent School District. These deeply concerning charges were flagged to the department’s notice on June 8, resulting in immediate action with the initiation of a formal inquiry and Augustus’s placement on administrative leave.

As the investigation progressed, its findings culminated in Augustus’s termination and subsequent arrest on June 14. The former officer now faces serious charges, including child sexual assault, indecency with a minor, and fostering the sexual performance of a minor. A bond amounting to $55,000 has been set against his name.

Before his fall from grace, Augustus had been part of the Frisco Police Department since July 2015. His recent posting was with the School Resource Officer Unit, a department that is now riddled with disgrace due to his alleged transgressions.
