The two hospitals are situated in Plano and Arlington, Texas, and were developed by America Development & Investments, a renowned Dallas-based healthcare real estate developer. According to Allison Klingsick, a spokesperson for Adolfson & Peterson, both hospitals officially opened their doors in July.
Reunion Rehab Plano
Reunion Rehab Plano, a state-of-the-art facility sprawled across 2.5 acres, encompasses an expansive 55,617 square feet. The hospital, which broke ground in October 2021, is a testament to modern medical infrastructure, boasting 48 patient rooms, cutting-edge therapy gyms, and a serene outdoor courtyard. The institution also features dayroom areas, spaces dedicated to physical therapy, staff amenities, food service and dining facilities, as well as administrative offices.

The Reunion Rehab Arlington facility, on the other hand, is a three-story complex that spans 50,800 square feet. With a design tailored to the diverse needs of patients and medical staff, it houses dedicated medical staff rooms, expansive dayrooms for patients, food services and dining areas, and fitness and physical therapy spaces. The hospital also features an outdoor courtyard that facilitates the practice of walking on varied surfaces and inclines for patients undergoing rehabilitation. This facility began construction in January 2021.
Adolfson & Peterson has an established history of collaboration with Reunion Rehab. According to the press release, the contractor has previously constructed three additional hospitals for the healthcare firm, located in Phoenix and Peoria, Arizona, and Inverness, Colorado.

Last year, the contractor was notably active in the state of Texas, where it constructed the PGA of America’s new headquarters in Frisco. Further testament to its growing footprint in the region, AP secured a $74 million contract in May to rehabilitate the office of defense contractor Raytheon in Plano, Texas. As highlighted by Tommy Meserole, AP’s director of preconstruction for central Texas, in a March interview with Construction Dive, the contractor remains bullish on the region’s potential for growth.
“It’s a thriving region and the continual influx of people and businesses requires bigger buildings and more transportation infrastructure,” Meserole told Construction Dive.
