Mark your calendars, the event is slated for July 26, during the afternoon and early evening hours of 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. The chosen venue for this laudable occasion is at the prime location of 2000 E. Spring Creek Parkway in Plano.

Plano ISD families are set to receive a multitude of services, conveniently provided at a single location. A fundamental feature of the fair is the distribution of backpacks brimming with much-needed school supplies. Moreover, families will be afforded assistance with school registration and enrollment processes, an oftentimes complicated and stressful task for parents and guardians alike.

In an effort to foster the overall well-being of students, the fair will extend services beyond the academic sphere. Attendees can avail themselves of grooming services, including haircuts, and health-related support, encompassing routine screenings and necessary immunizations. Furthermore, provisions will be made for boxes of non-perishable food items, ensuring a measure of food security for the families.

The district’s dedicated staff, along with representatives from diverse community agencies, will be readily available, offering their expertise and extending a helping hand with a variety of services, and answering questions families may have.

Families must register online and have a ticket for the Plano ISD event to receive a backpack

A caveat for those intending to avail of these services: Online registration is a prerequisite for participation, and families are required to present a ticket at the event to be eligible for a backpack.
